The Space

Maxwell House is the ultimate oceanside retreat. Outfitted with a beautiful mix of vintage and modern designer furniture, beautiful rugs, midcentury ceramics and unique art.

The great room has spectacular panoramic views that are unparalleled, and the master bedroom has a giant picture window with a perfect view of the ocean and rock arches right from your bed. The entire upstairs has brand-new energy efficient windows to maximize the views from every angle of the house.

A sweeping brand-new private deck is specially designed not to obstruct any views, and is a great place to sit in the sun or wrap up in blankets at night to stargaze.

A large dining table seats six and lets you dine while watching the ocean crash against the iconic Three Arch National Wildlife preserve. A breakfast bar provides additional seats if needed. Our new kitchen is fully equipped with great appliances, beautiful Danish dinnerware, and everything you need to make a gourmet feast. We’ve got a toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker, handmixer, immersion blender, standard blender, knife block, and plenty of other cookware and spices. We’ve even got beach-friendly wine glasses if you’re so inclined.

The master bedroom has a dedicated desk and fast wifi so you can embrace the work-from-the-beach lifestyle.

A giant fireplace creates extra ambiance as you listen to the waves crash.

A hidden trail takes you from our neighborhood down to the beach, one of the most beautiful spots in the whole state.

The house has two bedrooms upstairs—a master bedroom with an astounding view and a powder room, a large shared bathroom with a. shower and tub, and a small guest bedroom. Both bedrooms have plush wall to wall carpet to keep you extra cozy.

Downstairs is newly remodeled bedroom with new windows and floors, a new bathroom with a tub and shower and a giant vanity, a family room with a television and double couches, a nautical themed bunk room with four bunks, and a laundry room with new appliances and a shoe dryer in case a sneaker wave takes you by surprise.

Our family loves Oceanside and our house up on the hill, and we know you will too.

Hike down to the beach, or drive. We’ve got towels and chairs for you to use.

Watch the sunset from the private deck.

Or just sit in front of the fire and watch the tides shift.
