Oceanside is a quaint town on the Tillamook Coast, between Netarts Bay and Tillamook Bay. It is one of the only cliffside towns in Oregon, which makes it have unmatched views of the ocean and rock formations of the Three Arch Rocks National Wildlife Refuge. It’s located near the dead end of the highway, which keeps it low key and local.

There is so much beauty and fun to experience in this area . Just north of Oceanside is Cape Meares, the northernmost point of the Three Capes. You can take a day to experience all three capes on the Three Cape Scenic loop, which will take you from the quiet north end Cape Meares all the way to the more bustling Cape Kiwanda. This coastline is also densely forested and dotted with incredible rock formations. It’s truly breathtaking, and pictures just don’t do it justice.

The Village

Oceanside is a small village (population 326) up against a cliff.

At night, the twinkling lights of the village almost look like you’re in coastal Europe.

There are three restaurants in town, and two small markets in nearby Netarts.

There’s a coffee shop for all your morning needs, and a surf shop that has lots of touristy supplies and apparel, and offers surf lessons.

For more shopping options go into Tillamook where there are two large groceries and plenty of shops, plus a Farmer’s Market in Season.
